The main objectives of the group are the study and understanding of fundamental as well as unconventional properties of strongly correlated and mesoscopic systems, through the develompent of many-body techniques adequate to describe their exotic phases. Our research focuses on some of the most relevant emergent lines in the condensed matter field, like those of cold atom physics, topological quantum matter and graphene. We have also to mention our interest in the treatment of non-equilibrium phenomena like quantum transport and quantum decoherence.
